His voice on NCIS LA had recently sounded as if he had a health problem. R.I.P.

He hasn’t looked well in a long time. Lost weight and sunken face.

I’ve been binge-watching “Twin Peaks” in preparation for the new season on Showtime, and his turn as the FBI forensics expert without a shred of social skills was hilarious.

His character, and his portrayal of said character, was one of the few good things about that show.

He was also sympathetically evil in “The Stand” as Randall Flagg’s Lieutenant.

I think NCIS LA had him killed in a show last week. In the show, he was stabbed twice in the back. It may have been his choice to written out of the storyline.
Good actor.

My wife wondered if his lack of social skills in NCIS LA the show you mentioned, might have been like him in real life.

Son of Jose Ferrer I believe. Yes, I remember him well from Twin Peaks and from Robocop. Great actor and supposedly a really fine person.
To: SMGFan
Son of Rosemary Clooney and Jose Ferrer. First cousin of George Clooney. Brother-in-law of Debbie Boone. No relation to Mel Ferrer.
