I see that “possessive for plural” mistake EVERYWHERE now. It is depressing.
Almost as bad as “you’re” and “your”.
If the writing of the poster is an example of what she feels would be good/proper/correct writing, then perhaps she should not be so critical of what she is hearing from the 7 year-old. JMHO
