LOL!
“All I need is something to get me from Point A to Point B.”
Try EXPLAINING THAT to your friends if you’re in his circles. Like Tesla’s cars like that are not bought for transportation, they’re bought for talking points, although these days they’ll now have Trump to trash non-stop.
A guy looked at my Corvette the other day and said I wonder how many people could have been fed for the money that sports car cost.
I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families in Bowling Green, Kentucky who built it, it fed the people who make the tires, it fed the people who made the components that went into it, it fed the people in the copper mine who mined the copper for the wires, it fed people in Decatur IL. at Caterpillar who make the trucks that haul the copper ore. It fed the trucking people who hauled it from the plant to the dealer and fed the people working at the dealership and their families. BUT... I have to admit, I guess I really don’t know how many people it fed.
That is the difference between capitalism and welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people’s pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.
When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth.
Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.
Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for.
Maybe it’s been changed. At this point, the article says a man and woman were in the car. A third person is said to be a witness who watched the accident happen.
***some hammer and dolly work with some bondo and a blend job.***
Flooded car is considered a “totaled” car and are issued a “Salvage” or scrap title. They send it to the salvage yards in Missouri. Instead of salvaging or scrapping it, they will clean it, bondo it, repaint it, then send it down into Arkansas for a nice clean title showing that the salesman’s momma only drove it to church on Sunday.
No will ever catch on till they notice water in the oil, inside the doors, rust under the mats. and it begins to fall apart.
Arkansas has a reputation for getting brand new “clean” titles for ONLY $50.00 near here.
BEWARE OF ALL CARS SOLD IN ARKANSAS! Our company bought a brand new car off the dealer’s lot. A year later I noticed a slight variation in panel paint colors, and a close inspection showed it had been wrecked, rebuilt, and sold in Arkansas as a brand new car.
I worked in a truck factory. Sometimes there are wrecks that happen before the vehicle sees sunlight. They’re fixed and sold as new. The company isn’t going to eat a whole vehicle because they have parts cheaper than anybody and have teams of repair people.
Nah, an Alpha Male would want to drive.
We couldn’t have that!
