Sam Moore, of legendary soul and R&B duo Sam & Dave, has been announced as a performer at the “Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration” on January 19 in Washington, D.C.
“I was a participant in the civil rights movement and have seen many positive changes and advancement in my 81 years of living in this wonderful country, but I know we must all join hands and work together with our new President,” the Grammy Award-winning singer said in a press release. “I honestly believe that if we can accomplish this, the best is yet to come.”
Very nice. :) I like his sentiment.
Sam Moore is one of my favorites. I love all of the old Black masters of Blues, soul and R&B.
Mr Moore has a wonderful attitude.

I love it! Played lots of Sam and Dave material as a member of of Hot Potato and The Abdo-men in Milwaukee in the Seventies. Great music!

This one sounds familiar to me.
When I was in high school I worked evenings loading the Bolling AFB Hobart with dishes glasses and silverware along with some buddies.
A couple young black guys washing big pots and pans sang Motown, incl. Sam and they were good.
