Total blackout: The Swedish government says no, and refuses to submit statistics on immigrant crime. They are also reluctant to explain why.
On Sunday, the issue of mapping the various groups represented in crime statistics was discussed in SVT's Agenda, on national TV. It is 11 years since the last time such statistics were put forward in Sweden. Would they consider doing it again? No, not a chance!
And not only that, they would not even debate the issue. Not with the Sweden Democrats (SD) at least. The entire left - the governing parties plus the supporting party V - were conspicuously absent from a political debate on national TV, with the potential of reaching 10 million viewers, with an election coming next year. They would not say why they would not attend, but one begins to understand how sensitive the topic is.
It ended up with a debate between SD top Mattias Karlsson and left-academic Jerzy Sarnecky.
Not since 2005
The last official report that showed the proportion of the criminals who were foreigners, was published by Statistics (Brå) in 2005.
After that, it has not been possible to obtain new, updated figures, despite the fact that SD has repeatedly asked for new statistics. The Minister of Justice has said no every time.
One would imagine that it is important simply to get the facts on the table, and that is a good enough reason, but no. In Sweden, the social climate is so that when addressing "controversial" issues, one must have a pretty darn good explanation for why to do so. An explanation that can be accepted by the establishment.
So when SVT took up this "controversial" issue on Sunday, it was partly to counter rumors that the established news media black out the truth about the relationship between immigration and crime.
But now, to counter rumors of darkening the truth, suddenly had the opposite effect.
Because, if it was not evident before Sunday's Agenda that some would like to bury these statistics, it has now been made perfectly crystal clear.
Political Correctness is cultural suicide.
Ping.
I don’t think Sweden is really a democracy.
Said refusal means an implication that the rate is very high, (and that Swedish government does not trust Swedish citizens with the truth) n'est ce pas?
.
Forcing the folks to welcome their replacements.
Sweden is a great place to get attacked/molested by a Muslim immigrant on your way from shopping at a supermarket that boycotts products made and grown in Israel.
What a paradise!
I think it’s a suicidocracy.
Exactly.
Also interesting are the DOJ statistics. For purposes of victims of crime, Hispanics are listed as Hispanics. As perps, they are lumped in with whites (white Hispanics).
There used to be a website called "Sweden's Most Wanted." It was produced by Sweden's law enforcement people, and for years I made fun of it by pointing out virtually no one on the list was named "Svenson" or "Johanson", or any other Swedish name.
Yes, the list was populated almost entirely by "Mohammed", or "Ahmed" or some other Arabic Muslim name. Here's a captured image from what the website used to look like.
I have always believed that Sweden took down the website because it had become too embarrassing to them, and too indicative of the criminality of these "migrants."
Yes, a lot of governments are playing games with the truth so as to cover up the reality of what is happening.
Time to go a viking.
They wanted in, but once that Viking blood comes out, they will want to be anyplace else.
Political correctness is part of Babylon. Foreign gods, principalities and powers.
reported=deported
The few Swedish men on there were probably on there for taking a pee in their own back yards or something like that.
Or perhaps for saying bad things about Muslims.
If the real statistics were ever to be revealed (the truth), I suspect that the outrage by the Swedes would be so bad it would cause the govt. to be overthrown in order to rid themselves of these animals. It’s got to be pretty bad or they wouldn’t be blocking it.
