The flood is more likely the result of a great melt from the last ice age.
There are lots of stories about that stuff too.
The Judeo-Christian viewpoint unabashedly puts God first.
Other viewpoints might massage the story because the leading lights are mortal.
Just want to give a perspective here.
How about an object rotated on the normal/anti-normal axis? I understand an object on the same orbital plane having a problem staying stable, but if the orbit is swung into the Z-axis, you introduce different orbital characteristics for apoapsis and periapsis such that flinging the object out of Sol’s SOE is more complicated.
The interface between special miracle and ordinary miracle is tricky to understand and I’m not sure we even have enough data to try to give it a full scientific treatment.
there is not enough water for that
I like this theory better
A new planet sloshed all the water to one side of the planet in a mega-high tide that lasted months
It’s all there. Read the article.
As I start to read your article, it looks like you are definitely setting specific dates. Also, and this is just something we may disagree on, I believe that Revelation 7 does indeed describe the rapture, but as a mid tribulationist, I see it as after 3.5 years of tribulation and before 3.5 years of wrath of God, where no others will be saved, excepting the 144k.
But I’m still reading. I’m also getting a bit of Deja vu. I think I may have read this before.
>>If you get an automatic extension on your taxes you can go until October 15th without filing. Of course you will get a small penalty for not paying the total amount at that time, but damn...going for the rest of your life without paying taxes is way, way cool.<<
What makes you think the IRS will be undone by a small matter like planetary collision?
The only thing that will exist after a catastrophe will be cockroaches and the IRS.
But I repeat myself.
As the country preacher once said...
“If you can do somethin about somethin, then there ain’t no sense worrying.”
“And if you can’t do somethin about somethin, then there ain’t no sense worrying.”
A Bible-believing friend who is well-informed and hard to fool gives this credence because of Revelation 16:21, the bit about stones falling on the Earth. That is part of the prediction for the arrival of Nibiru with its large asteroid entourage.
Sitchin was a fraud. None of his Sumerian translations are anywhere close to being correct. He made it all up from whole cloth.
I'm sure you read every book cover to cover to come up with that.
So, who are they blaming for this, “Talmudic Zionists” or “racist rednecks?”
“And now this fantasy wont die.”
Kinda like the fantasy that leftists are humans, when we all know that they’re lizard people from the Zskslszs system (their name for it) disguised with human skin suits.
I wouldn’t waste my time. The guy was either a fraud or nuts, probably both.
