Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
Rand is kinda irascible but this is legit.

No need to worry; we are laid back Freepers, not a bunch of irascible and immature democrats alternating between depression and issuing death threats.

The man, at first thought to be an irascible bully, was merely saying what everybody else had been thinking, but had been afraid to say for years.

Erasable should not be removed from the lexicon! Who came up with such a harebrained scheme? Without words like erasable it would be much more difficult to express the getting rid of things. This word is so useful in so many contexts, no matter what those mealymouthed pedants may think. The very idea of the demise of this beautiful word is abhorrent to me! Is someone somewhere keeping a list of words scheduled for extinction? Its wrong. Its just WRONG I tell you! I wont stand for it!
Oh. Irascible?
Nevermind. (with a whiny Roseanne Rosannadanna voice)

As protestors flock to the capital
I think that is laughable
That flower children
Are so hate ridden
And are now old and irascible

Is it appropriate on this color-filled MLK day to ask if the classroom blackboards need any erasible marks removed?
You know, just wiped off with bleachbit or something else to remove democrat stains.

It was windy and stormy most of last night/early morning-but we had put all our stuff under cover so we had dry materials to work with today-
It would be wise for democrats
To lose that irascible attitude
They have used all the excuses
They could find just to be rude
They say now if you’re an “icon”
There is a kind of unspoken rule-
No one is about to call you out
Even if you are acting the fool
But pres elect Trump is a boss
That behavior makes him tired-
Whether in business or politics
Lewis should hear “you’re fired”!
I’ve worked with/for some really strange and even scary people-still happens, even though I try hard to avoid anyone like that-but I would rather have no pay on Friday than put up with someone as rude, insulting and obnoxious as that overfed, bloviating manatee Lewis-he acted out and didn’t go to GWB’s inauguration, blabbing the same sh** after Florida, too...
