We are not running out of numbers. We have an infinite supply of integers, and an even greater infinite number of real numbers, as Georg Cantor elegantly proved in 1874. Plus another infinite number of complex numbers.

On Monday, November 7, 2016 there was widespread disagreement on what the hours-away "foreseeable future" would bring (Trump's election win), although many well-informed folks had been analyzing & debating it for 18 months.
On Friday, November 22, 1963 at noon Dallas time, JFK was enjoying the ride in his motorcade's convertible. No one [other than the perps] knew what the "foreseeable future" (half an hour away) held.
A more precise term would be "anticipated future" or "likely future" or "projected future" based on sound statistical evidence. "Tomorrow will be similar to today, + or - 0.001%" is the general worldview, but rarely articulated that way. I like "likely."
We will drill our own numbers from now on! Good old “10-4, good buddy, what’s your 20?” American numbers, not those Arabic numbers or unos-dos-equis Mexican numbers.
