I was recently in Paris and was surprise at how nice almost everyone was dressed during the work week, most in the metro looked like Ivanka, whereas in San Francisco on the metro they most often look like Ms Clinton
Except for Britain women in Europe tend to look after themselves and are very conscious of appearing feminine and attractive in public. I think it's mostly to impress other women, but the difference between them and American women mostly looking like they're headed to the gym or Walmart is striking.
You'll notice a lot of little cultural differences between Europeans and Americans if you spend time there, and not all of them in our favor. Taking time to really enjoy a meal instead of stuffing one's face as fast as possible, or if in a hurry just eating something really light, was another big one. Gov. Kasich is a case in point.
