In one 4 hour period in Derry in the early ‘90s, I experienced snow, rain, sleet, hail, freezing rain.
All, before noon.
And then, the wind started to blow about 50 MPH.
Turns out an older girl must have the exact same coat.
May any islam scum die from the fate.
Cute story, though that older girl must have been freezing on her way home from school yesterday ;).
After searching through the tables of lost and found hats and mittens at school when my boys were young I swore off black mittens for good. Three long cafeteria tables of black hats, gloves and mittens. I never found the one we were missing. Heck-we homeschool now and we still lose gloves/mittens.
Blizzard conditions in Ireland??
I told my wife to clip something to the zipper.
It all turned out alright. Everyone was pleasant. The mix-up happened after choir where they went into separate rooms.
Secretary said there are two boys who mix-up at sports because they have the same shoes.
I wonder if global warming is the cause? 😊
I really did think it was a cute story-hope I didn’t come across as critical about the problem of the other girl. I just had a picture in my mind of her trying to get into a coat that had “shrunk “.
Ireland is around the same latitude as parts of Canada (around 52° to 54° North). It usually has mild winters for its given latitude (I doubt the Canadians ever worry about a ‘snow blizzards’ and an inch or two of accumulation).
This is probably what Boston would call a ‘mild dusting.’
LOL
**This is probably what Boston would call a mild dusting.**
Boston literally shuts down with 1/2” of snow. :D
The mild winters are usually attributed to the Gulf Stream.
You should see some of the invented critical I get around here - LoL!
Tomorrow is Friday, have a great weekend!
