Michael White, the Michelin-starred chef behind acclaimed Italian restaurants such as Marea and Ai Fiori, has dropped 137 pounds over the past five years but hes still enjoying the pasta that made him famous.
In 2010, the 6-foot-4-inch chef noticed his body was aching. He was uncomfortable, his feet hurt and he lacked energy.
He stepped on the scale and was shocked by the number he saw: 374 100 pounds more than he weighed as a football player at Rock Valley College in Illinois.

true, the formula will always be to burn more calories than you take in, but many get quite passionate when discussing the best way to achieve this....I know people who treat the no-carb lifestyle like a religion while some do not....The formula is the same, but there are many paths to getting there.
