Eeek! Official Washington is being traumatized by the tweets of Donald Trump.
Politico has chronicled the pearl clutching concern by the inside the beltway types over Trump's tweets. It seems Trump speaking directly to the people via Twitter is causing a crises among politicians and lobbyists who just don't know how to handle it as reflected in the article title, Trump’s Twitter feed traumatizes Washington.

The funny thing about Trump is they way his staggering intellect towers over the mediocrities of the media, academia, Hollywood, and political establishment, who flounder around fecklessly and completely bewildered.

Evidently M T Lott never had the deer spine I sent him installed after he caved on yet another issue.
I was kind enough to knock most of the dirt off of it before I sent it and he never even bothered to send a thank you letter. Ingrate!
This is why more people trust Trump than you. They perceive that Trump says what he has to say to the whole world, not one message to one smoke-filled room, and another message to another group.
Trump's latest Tweet from a few minutes ago:
"Having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. Only "stupid" people, or fools, would think that it is bad! We.....
have enough problems around the world without yet another one. When I am President, Russia will respect us far more than they do now and....
both countries will, perhaps, work together to solve some of the many great and pressing problems and issues of the WORLD!
I have a sister in law who tries to control people by shaming them if they are not politically correct. I’m a lot like Rodney Dangerfield and it drives her crazy.
The need to be politically correct is just a control technique used by the libs to manipulate the masses.
I have found that the most bizarre unexpected statements in front of them just drives them crazy.
For me, being politically correct is following the commandments. Beyond that, I have a lot of freedom to be who I want to be. I use the abortion issue as a measuring stick. If they are pro killing babies then I can’t trust their judgement on other issues. It’s that simple.
I am glad that Trump tuned it down a bit... His statement to Tucker Carlson when Tucker criticized Trumps hair, while very true and humorous, was not presidential...(but Trump was not running for president at the time)
“About 15 years ago, I said something nasty on CNN about Donald Trump’s hair,” Carlson wrote. “I can’t now remember the context, assuming there was one. In any case, Trump saw it and left a message the next day. “It’s true you have better hair than I do,” Trump said matter-of-factly. “But I get more pussy than you do.” Click.”
Carlson goes on to say that “The message had all the hallmarks of a Trump attack: shocking, vulgar and indisputably true” and that Trump was not his “first choice for president.”
We are the deplorable anti-politically correct crowd.

If you are receiving flak, then you are over the target.
They asked for it! They tried to mess with Donald Trump and it backfired... he’s not one of the political correct weaklings the media can manipulate. It must be a first.. and they can hardly believe what he is able to do.. WITHOUT them (the media).
The brashness the ‘hateful liberal left’ accuse President Trump of... is part of why he is not afraid to take anyone on. .. not operating in an already made box... he is not limited to trying just about anything to get to where he is headed. I am so looking forward to the days/weeks and months after Jan 20th. It’s been a long time coming... and thank God it’s not hillary.
If Lott’s quote doesn’t capture the whole of the problem in Washington, I don’t know what does.
