Being a Marine is one thing. I applaud her service, she’s my sister for it, no matter her politics.
Being Marine infantry is another thing, altogether. I was in it for a while, before I went over to Combat Engineers. You have to learn to have an affection for misery, even while bitching about it.

Keep them in separate barracks, and observing the Dominant Female Menstrual Cycle Syndrome, have one battalion always in PMS.

Holy frap! Jonathan Winters was a WWII Marine as well. He became ill and was hospitalized while in the service and avoided the fate of nearly all his buddies ... KIA on Saipan.
