MSNBC hires Greta Van Susteren for evening show

NEW YORK (AP) — MSNBC says it has hired former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren to host a daily, Washington-based news program at the dinner hour.

Just like Tucker Carlson, who Fox named as Megyn Kelly’s prime-time replacement on Thursday, Van Susteren completes the cable news hat trick: hosting shows on CNN, Fox and MSNBC. Her show will air at 6 p.m. ET.

Maybe not....Morning Blow was more fair to Trump than many Fox News shows/pundits during the election. Pretty crappy business model(in today's climate)to just be a flaming liberal network(ask CNN). If they had to rely on traditional revenue sources they(and news-rags like The Slimes)probably would have gone under years ago, so no doubt they are heavily subsidized by the globalist(Soros, etc.)cabal, and as such, exclusively do THEIR bidding...rather than being a REAL news source.

Doesn't really matter to me either way, we "cut-the-cord" 3 years ago(wish we had done it long before that).

With near zero exceptions (e.g., Sean Hannity), talking heads are nothing more than paid actors and actresses that do the bidding of their paycheck masters. Nothing more and nothing less. If they have personal political convictions at all, it’s always liberal; nonetheless, they play the parts assigned to them.

And in short order, she’ll be crushed by Bret Baier and “Special Report.”

Her choice of a new network home is curious. She left when Roger Ailes departed Fox News, and there were rumors that Ailes would launch a new cable channel (perhaps with Donald Trump), and Greta would be one of the prime time anchors. But Trump won the White House, and Ailes appears content to collect the remaining two years on his contract (at $20 million per), plus whatever retirement package Fox owes him.

Greta is far better than anything on MSNBC right now (damning her with faint praise), but no one will be watching her new show, and 2-3 years down the road, she will be shown the door.

I agree. Greta is a straight shooter, one of the rare ones in her profession with some integrity. I wish her well.
