NEW YORK (AP) — MSNBC says it has hired former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren to host a daily, Washington-based news program at the dinner hour.

Just like Tucker Carlson, who Fox named as Megyn Kelly’s prime-time replacement on Thursday, Van Susteren completes the cable news hat trick: hosting shows on CNN, Fox and MSNBC. Her show will air at 6 p.m. ET.

Well it appears Greta has jumped the shark and/or she will now permit her true Liberal and Scientology roots show!

I don’t know how they allowed that Leah Rehmey thing to go on the air. It’s devastating.

6pm? She’ll compete with Brett Baier? She might win, he’s a bit boring and he’s on after Shep who has scared away all the viewers.

I am delighted that they DID allow it! Scientology makes Jim Jones look like a piker!
It also explains why Katie Holmes left the queer Tom Vruise...to protect her child from this cult!

Brett Baier jumped the shark a long time ago...I used to enjoy that time slot, but it became ALL Liberal BS ALL the time, and IXNAY on that!!

I think this could be a good thing. Greta is a solid straight down the line type. I think she’s an honest reporter of the news. We’ll see if she can keep this integrity on MSNBC.

Perhaps someone at MSNBC realizes that the whole lefty/anarchist/socialist thing is not really working and if they want to get better ratings, they’ll have to get sane hosts on their show...

I don’t understand why he’s still around. Everyone think he’s a smug jerk.

Wonder if Greta had to take a Liberal Lefty Oath and drink the Lefty Coolaid before being offered the MSNBC Gig?

Maybe let her go one-on-one with Leah Remini for an hour?

Greta gave fair coverage to Trump and criticized Romney was his unsubstantiated attacks on Trump. She covered Marilyn Mosby repeatedly for her attack on the police and unethical behavior, something few others did. I watched her often and never saw her push her religion.

I had a thought about her. Are we sure she has left Scientology; or, does she just want to run it herself?

Greta read her audience well, and certainly took care of them. She may certainly be a “moderate”, but IIRC, her husband is a big-time Democrat lawyer and they were both huge Bill Clinton fans. Also recall, before FOX, she was a CNN fixture. So, really just sort of migrating back to her roots I suppose. I wish her well.
