I went to college (3.5yrs) to be a social worker to help. I quit when I found out the Government didn’t want to help cure poverty because then they would be out of a job. Their solution was more government programs.
Started my own business that creates value.

Exactly right. If this priest cared to do his job right he would be encouraging those in his flock to stay straight, learn some type of marketable skill, and hunt for a job until one is found. Instead he is encouraging them to game the system and rip off hard-working taxpayers.

Heck no, for the same reason he hasn’t been rotated to another parish as per standard practice...his personality cult brings money to St. Sabina and the Archdiocese. Take him away, the tithing followers disappear, and St. Sabina will be another failing South Side parish in a few years.
I have personally (face to face) warned priests against preferring the collection basket over the Truth. (both since replaced)
