Legendary anti-virus creator John Mcafee recently spoke with Larry King. And gave his thoughts on the recent hacking that Russia is blamed for. And this guy knows all about hacking! "Any hacker that could hack into the DNC could easily cover their tracks," he said during the interview. He also went on to criticize the U.S. government for overall lack of internet security and claiming they spend too much time spying on their own citizens.

For all the strange things reported about McAfee, he sure looks and sounds good for a 71-year-old.
John McAffee shouldn’t be quoted anywhere anytime.
Disagree. McAffee is an outlier genius, and his personal life activities don't always go through the same filters as more normal folks. It's an aspect of creative talent. His statement that "anyone capable enough to hack a government is capable of hiding their hacking" is a compelling hypothesis that logically sounds like a strong argument against Russia having done the hacking.
Mcafee is nuttier than a rat turd in a pistachio factory.
And why not? It fears us private citizens more than it does outside threats.
JM is a survivor. Those who insult him don’t understand what he went through - and when its their family’s turn, they will wonder why nobody helps.
He may have some shred of something left but the drugs have taken it’s toll.
Did you read his piece on plugging bath salts? Pure genius.
All of the negatives are there in anyone after a certain age. I’ve reached an age where I’m more interested in what a person has accomplished and what they can still accomplish. The logic of McAffee’s hypotheses is compelling. The logic of O’s actions and conclusions are not.
I’d say chemical induced brain deterioration is a dis-qualifier.
We all know what the framers meant, but the ferrules argue the ballot box. In today's society, stand in a courtroom and argue constitutional rights to support a case and they just laugh in the backroom.
Bill of rights? Uh huh...if you say so.
If the ferrules can spy on innocent citizens phone records/internet URLs/Ccard records w/o individual probable cause warrants issued by a magistrate, they can do just about anything they wish.
For example: ALPRs (Automatic lic plate readers). This was a great idea, great law enforcement tool to catch crooks who have stolen a car. Now, law enforcement routinely cruise through private parking lots using ALPRs to scan hundreds of lic plates for registration/insurance/DL violations. Basically...revenue cops.
We now know local law enforcement has been pretty much militarized. SWAT (Special weapons and tactics) teams would be called out in hostage situations or for high profile “armed and dangerous” fugitives. Over the last decade, SWAT raids have increased from around 17k per year to over 80K.
Someone owing child support refuses to open the door to officers, a person wanted on a drug warrant, a suicidal individual threatening to harm themselves, a teenager in a park with what appears to be a rifle. All these trigger SWAT situations.
Black clad, automatic weapons, grenades/ordinance, heavy armored vehicles, drones...you name it. All in the name of terror.
