Paradox for DOS was wonderful Loved Paradox, and Borland's flat file database too - Reflex. Paradox actually still exists bundled into WordPerfect Office X8 – Professional Edition.

Speaking of Borland, they had a kick-ass word processing program in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s — “Sprint”. When MS began their bundling with new PCs, it kicked to the curb the best programs such as Sprint and WordPerfect.
