‘passed away peacefully’

As opposed to kicking and screaming?

RIP.

I think that suicide would be considered “suspicious” and would require an investigation.

He wants to be buried with his butt sticking out of the ground,.....so his friends can come by for a cold one.
Is it too soon?

When I hear pneumonia for a relatively younger gay person, I always think it was most likely AIDS.

You don’t see AIDS listed much anymore as the cause of death. It’s not so politically correct and they want to be nicer to family. They will usually list the cause as some sort of respiratory distress. So more than likely, he died of AIDS but I am not sure.

The best male vocalist in my lifetime without a doubt. And an underrated songwriter. Although there must have been brain damage after that incident in 2013 when he somehow tumbled out of a moving Range Rover onto the M-1 in London.

Andrew Ridgeley cashed his royalty checks and is still living the highlife today with a net worth of about $25 million. He's married to one of the girls from Bananarama - another mostly forgotten 80s bubble gum band.

Seems to have done well for himself. That's not him below obviously but it's how I picture him post-Wham.

“...But say a prayer, a prayer for the other ones, at Christmas time...”

— George Michael’s solo part in (1984) BAND AID “Do They Know it’s Christmas?”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIxj7Ew_99w

George’s high note of his career was this song IMO (and “Last Christmas” in Wham). Two of the few modern Christmas songs that comes close to ranking up there with the Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, NKC, Perry Como, etc era of Christmas classics.
