For the first time in 40 years, snow has fallen on the Sahara Desert, the Independent reported Wednesday. [ ]
In his images [Karim Bouchetat, an amateur photographer who captured images of the snow on Monday], a thin layer of snow rests on deep orange dunes, where he said it stayed for about a day, and forms whirling patterns where the slopes are too steep for it to settle. Snow was reportedly last seen in Ain Sefra in 1979, when a half-hour snowstorm stopped traffic, the Independent stated in its article.

Where’s the editor? This is a poorly-written news story because it doesn’t tell the reader where in the vast Sahara Desert Ain Sefra lies.

I did a camping trip (by camel) in south eastern Algeria about 30 years ago... we slept in sleeping bags out in the open at nights, and every morning there was frost covering the sand.... very cold at nighttime there.
What the pointy headed liberals refuse to understand is that ice age appears on earth every 12-20 thousand years. And next ice age will be 100 times more destructive to life and infrastructure on earth than any global warming could. If anything humans are better advised to create as much global warming as possible, to delay the inevitable coming ice age. But alas, man is just a small pimple on a large bull elephants ass, compared to nature.
Climate change is just an other word to impose more tax on productive people.
