This is an issue for lawmakers to decide imo, not for judges to legislate from the bench.
So a civilian killing a K9 is the equivalent of killing a human police officer even if the K9 is in the middle of attacking the civilian, but a police officer killing a civilian’s dog is just fine even if the dog isn’t presenting any kind of threat.
Huh.
Somehow that doesn’t strike me as conducive to encouraging respect for the police.
Meh- Women can murder their own as yet born children because they ‘have the potential to be loud and bothersome’

I marvel at how we as a nation have come from a free republic to an unconstitutional, immoral, tyrannical state.

I also wonder just how much one man will be able to reverse. My sense is that this country is headed for civil war, regardless of its leader and how strong of a unifier he is.

They should at lease have to read the dog his rights before shooting him, or maybe in this case it would be his rites.

My dog let’s his displeasure be known, when people walk - in front of HIS HOUSE - without permission.
He’d go bat shit crazy if you were to break down a door.
So, does this go both ways? I think laws apply to police also, so we are free to blow away a barking police dog, or our neighbor’s barking basset hound?
I think the same laws of self defense apply to a dog, if you aren’t in danger, you leave them alone.
