A growing group of artists is hitting back against Ivanka Trump, with some even demanding the president-elect's daughter take their work down off her walls.
A collection of New York artists have banded together to protest Donald Trump through his daughter, with a campaign called 'Dear Ivanka'.
The colorful crusade was created by the Halt Action Group, which was founded by curator Alison Gingeras, dealer Bill Powers, Jonathan Horowitz, and a group of others associated with the art scene, Bloomberg reports.

What, exactly, did she do to them?
She has enough money to take each and every painting, start a big fire and throw each and every painting, film it and call in the media so they can video “Taking out the garbage”. Those people are absolutely certifiable “crazy”!
How could one crash the market, so to speak, for these petty, presumptuous people? A few fakes sold of each, reputed to have been owned by Ivanka Trump? Or a very public mockery, maybe a Velvet Elvis paint by number contest featuring their works? Proceeds from cost of entry along with the original could be donated to whatever charity would drive these particular people nuts, Salvation Army would be a good one.
There are lots of very petty people in this world.
Several income audits by IRS are way overdue. Many of these scum are on disability or welfare while selling their works for cash. Where is Lois Lerner when we need her to bring justice? As John Wayne would say, “That’ll be the day”.
Ooh, that would be fun. And it would be "art" all over again, they've been telling us that for decades. Who knows, maybe it'll inspire Cuban exiles to create "art" by sculpting Che Guevara from horse poop.

I don’t know how, but I think Ivanka should come right back at them and very publicly shoot down every one of their “objections” to Dad.
Ex. - misogyny? You mean like when Hillary mocked and smeared all those women her husband assaulted and raped? Or when the obamas turned a blind eye to the women raped and killed by the illegals they themselves made sure couldn’t be deported? Like THAT kind of misogyny?

DO what they say and ask your father to get rid of the National Endowment for the Arts. If their artwork is that wonderful, they won’t even notice.

That is an excellent idea. I am categorically opposed to the NEA, but I very much appreciate many forms of art and many artists. I just don’t believe the government should be using taxpayer’s money to subsidize them

There are so many conservative artists out here. And they do REAL art, not that junk hanging on her walls. Anyone could do pieces like she has hanging. You don’t even have to be an artist. I know, ‘cause I am one of those conservative artists. (retired)
They seem to be objecting to her existence.
What’s hilarious is Ivanka Trump IS a liberal.
The protestors seem to have mistaken her father’s politics for hers.
