If a member state starts a war, that doesn’t mean we have to join. Killing an ambassador is an act of War. I doubt it was done by the Turkish Government.

We donot know who did it.

IMHO, it was one os the radical islamic sects, whom the Russians and Syrians are defeating now because both Russia and Syria, in that civil war, have now pretty nuch taken off all of the gloves and are bombing rebel held areas to rubble...civilians or no inhabiting those areas.

We did much the same in World War II to Germany and to Japan.

Turkey has been hard on the Kurds, but very light on the islamic extremeists in Syria (as has bama) and so those sects may be trying, of a flase glag may be trying to gear up a fight with Turkey.

My point was siple, Turkey is a NATO ally and any seiois war against them could easily drag us into the fray depedning on how it came down.

That makes it a potentially serious issue..
