My Dad, who recently passed, was a huge sports fan from Chicago. He would have loved that map!
By land area - square miles - as in this map, the Seahawks have the largest territory...by virtue of Alaska.
I wished I had remembered it, so glad you did.
Shows my point better than I ever could have said :)
(Though now the Rams location sure has changed LOL!)
Cowboys in Vegas?
Here are a few interesting facts: ~Alaska is 2.4 times the size of Texas (424.9 X the size of Rhode Island)
~Alaska is larger than Texas, Calif. & Mont. COMBINED! That's Right!
~If you put a scale map of Alaska over a map of the U.S., Alaska would stretch from Disneyland, all the way to Disney World.
An old Eskimo man told me: "Mike (Embloom Designs Anchorage, AK., "Alaska Pissin' Off Texas Since 1959") - you know it's true; if you divide Alaska in half, Texas would become the 3rd largest state. BUT! he said with a smile: If you wait 'til the tide goes out, you could divide Alaska in 3rds and make Texas the 4th largest state!"

“The New York Jets do not have a plurality of fans in any US county.”
Cool map. Of course, I happen to be the oddball Rams fan (pathetic but accurate showing on the map). I can also say that the Rockford, Illinois area is 40-40 Bears-Packers (10% Vikings, 10% other). Patriots support in Hartford, CT is a recent phenomenon. Hartford had been plurality Giants until the Pats started winning Super Bowls.
