Longtime radio personality and The Big Broadcast host Ed Walker passed away early on Oct. 26 at age 83. We invite you to leave your thoughts and remembrances.
Ed Walker spent 65 years on the radio. His last program was unlike any other.
I'll be in and out (more out than in tonight). We're doing our annual drive to the Maryland hills to spend Christmas with my family this year (thank you, Lord, for allowing it to BE at Christmas this year). That being said, we're having our Christmas with the (her) family down here tonight. We have kids, in-laws, extended family, and lots of little ones running around here. The house, of course, is decorated beautifully, with a Victorian flair. (I've always had a preference for traditional German and Victorian English themes. In fact, we're restarting our fledgling craft business that's been in stasis since the fire, and we're going to make Advent wreaths to market, among other things. And believe me, we don't skimp on quality or craftsmanship. I'm a stickler to the point of being anal retentive about that.) I am going to grab a hard cider and partake of the bounty of food that's been brought in my door. If I don't get a chance to log in next Sunday night, allow me to say Merry CHRISTmas to all!
