Everything I read claims Mule Deer and White tailed are about the same size.

The Mulies we had in eastern Washington were much bigger than Whitetails on the west side.

Comparing Kansas whitetail and Colorado Mulies, the whitetail and taller, the mulies are stockier, I thing the meat content about averages out about the same.

Mule Deer and White tailed are about the same size.

I've seen both in N.W. Kansas and they seemed to be the same size to me too.....I used to laugh when the mulies hopped away......

I’m surprised that mule deer aren’t considered larger than white tail...I think at least their “horns” as I call them are bigger..
