Light snow, here in southern NH. I wrapped our hives last Tuesday. Hope they winter over.
Snow thrower on garden tractor is operational. Used once last already.
No snow here yet-I can wait on that! Cold is here and worse than we have had at this time of the year for a while, but no worse than when I was a kid.
I got a note from a friend who lives near Tamworth, stating the Mt Washington Observatory hit -85 below zero, wind chill, Thursday nite.
I think it may be the right time to break out the snow thrower.
Incidentally, how did the bees do this year ?
Did you pull off any honey, or did you leave it in the hive ?
