While it was commendable of them, the students who were helping her could have caused lifelong damage if she had a serious injury to her neck. They should have tried to get her to be still and put bracing towels on either side of her neck and called for medical help. They should have strongly urged her to remain still until proper medical care arrived.
She shouldn’t have attacked him, but the men in my life wouldn’t have responded by hitting her like that.
He’s much stronger and could have defended himself differently or even walked away.
