Fake news is th eresult of 24-hour news channels. There is not enough news to fill the air waves 24-hours a day, 365-days a year.

The result is crap made up to fill the excess hours and help to sell commercial time.

I disagree. There is PLENTY of news that could be broadcast to fill the 24 hours, but the networks are constantly feeding the same 3 stories repeatedly. The headlines change one at a time every few hours, but it’s the same tripe over and over and over and over again, on every channel. Some actual investigative reporting of, say the DAPL story or the Kinder Morgan expansion, or the removal of aerial surveillance on the Mexico border.

Fox is no better than the rest, though they at least TRY to present the stories in a centrist fashion as opposed to the barking moonbats of MSNBC et al.
