It was put up on the whitehouse.gov website. I was home when the news came out that it had been uploaded, so I got on and downloaded a copy for myself. Within a couple of hours (or less) there were people reporting about the phoniness of the “official” BC released by the white house. I ran it through Adobe Illustrator and was able to verify that it was a creation made through multiple layers.
Yes, I remember that. But they never said who provided the illustration put on the website. They never said it was scanned into an image. It is certain that the state of HI did not make it. COLB’s are printed. Today they are printed from a computer record file.
Abercrombie said it was “written down”. He did not say anything about an original COLB. My bet? It was applied for as a late birth record and the data entered, but did not get the supporting necessary documents and it was never actually issued.
I don’t believe he was born in HI at all. But grandma Dunham took care of filing the application.
