I think he appeared on Hollywood Squares a couple of times.
I can see him doing that, be such an upbeat, gabby individual.
Many entertainment legends leaving us this year: Alan Thicke, Doris Roberts, Alan Young, Robert Vaughan, Gene Wilder, Florence Henderson, Abe Vigoda, Ron Glass, Nancy Davis Reagan, now Bernard Fox...I’m sure that’s not all.
I didn’t particularly care for Titanic and only watched it all the way through once on a school field trip in high school, but remember recognizing him when he first appeared on screen thinking “Hey, that’s Dr. Bombay!”
RIP. I think he’s the guy who replaced Aunt Bee while she went on vacation in an episode of the Andy Griffith Show.
Some big names like David Bowie and Glenn Frey and Prince. Alan Rickman, making it a bad year to be a famous Alan.
Awful, awful movie, but not Bernard’s fault.
SMOooooo....KIN
Cousin
When the show was first being cast, the role of Darrin was originally offered to Dick Sargent. He had to turn it down due to other contractual obligations, with the part then going to Dick York. When York could no longer continue on the show as a result of declining health, Dick Sargent was once again offered the role, and this time, was able to accept.
The best part of the movie...

KRAMER: Simple. You let out one emotion, all the rest will come with it. It’s like Endora’s box.
JERRY: That was the mother on Bewitched. You mean Pandora.
If only we had global warming in 1912, that iceberg would have melted and Leo would still be alive today.
“His character on the Andy Griffith show was named Malcolm Merriweather.”

That’s right! Passing through town on his bike when Barney pinched him, if memory serves.
Malcom on Andy Griffith.
I just started watching Hogan’s Heroes on late night TV, saw him twice in the last month. RIP.
Gladys Kravitz: the missing evolutionary link that explains all of today's female democrat politicions...
Your screen name reminds me of another actor who recently passed away this year - Van Williams, who played the Green Hornet.
I don’t really like my screen name, as I didn’t know the racial implications when I picked it, but I’m stuck with it. I’ll have to see what connection it has to Green Hornet.
Needless to say, I was very saddened by the news of his passing.
“Dr.Bombay was my favorite Bewitch character.”

Aunt Clara was a great character, too, stealing doorknobs off doors for her doorknob collection.
Aunt Clara:” Doorknobs are all very well, but they’re not family. I count them when I’m lonely, but somehow today, you know they didn’t seem to do the trick. “
