Yes, you remember when Jesus killed 130 people in Paris, and when he threatened to conquer the Vatican and behead the Pope himself, don’t you? Is the Pope actually saying that to be concerned about jihad terrorists and Sharia supremacists flooding into Europe with the migrant influx is tantamount to rejecting Jesus?
Is he saying that opposing this influx out of concern for one’s family and society makes one un-Christian? No wonder the Church is offering no help against the Muslim migrant influx, but only making sure the gates are flung open as wide as possible. For the Pope, apparently, the only acceptable definition of Christian charity is society and civilizational suicide.
Remember, this Pope has said that “we can speak today of an Arab invasion” of Europe — and it is one he is actively abetting. But the problem with the newcomers is not that they are Arabs, but that they are adherents of a violent and supremacist ideology that has a will to conquer and subjugate non-Muslim Europeans.
If they succeed, it will be in large part because of the ignorance, complacency, and willing help of Pope Francis and his minions.

They were refugees from political persecution in Israel; they returned home when the persecution which they fled had ended. Today's refugees could learn from them.

My understanding is God likes when people follow His leading rather than just making up their own mind to do some thing without Him.
But you can explain your logic to God when you get your chance, that some earthly definition of migrant is more important than whether God has or has not instructed a person to do something. Trying telling God that what He says doesn’t matter or make any difference compared to man made definitions.

Jesus’ earthly father, Joseph, was a Craftsman, a Tradesman, a “small business owner” and a TAXPAYER.
To call him a “migrant” or “homeless” (which also seems to be in vogue) is a profound insult, because it belittles his ability to provide for Mary and her Child.
The Church has always revered Joseph for his honesty, skill, diligence, and righteousness.

It’s not likely he ever traveled more than 40 miles from his birthplace. I guess it’s too much to ask a pope to read the bible.
That may well be true; I don't view him favorably.
Some points remain:
1) Jesus, Mary and Joseph absolutely were refugees for a time in Egypt.
2) Their conduct as refugees (living peaceably in Egypt, returning home when able) was exemplary. Today's refugees could (and should) learn from them and emulate them.
3) A whole lot of people posting on this thread know less about the Bible than they think they know.

Just deal with it: They were refugees. Their conduct as refugees provides a sterling example of how refugees should (and today often don't) conduct themselves.
