Evening all, are you feeling Christmasee yet? I am.

Love the lineup tonight and the Christmas theme makes it better...striking fast with the Jack Benny Show...some Glenn Miller is always a good thing...Space Patrol is for children, Murray seems to swing from being a child emotionally, and then to know it all know nothing PC tool...Night Beat, a B level classic...Nick Carter is on the case...and ending strong with a Christmas Suspense...

So we're going to start a new weekly game of making fun of “It's all about me and I'm your repulsive know it all professor and political correctness master” Murray Horwitz. Just use the html text below inside of < > and caption him with anything that tickles your funny bone.

I've ruined the Big Broadcast through my unlikable personality, belittling the material, needing to feel superior, and by acting as king douche of political correctness.

*grumble* The missus had to fly to Springfield, MO, for a business seminar at the last minute, until Friday night. Just got back from depositing her at the airport. Now I'm stuck here alone with five cats. Kinda in a pissy, depressed mood now.

Hey there, Gina’s traveling too.

What’s your issue? Hate cats or being alone?

I dunno. The cats are cool, albeit perpetually full of cat turds. Try running maintenance for five cats, three litter boxes, as well as multiple food bowls and a filtered water cube for a few days. More of an issue with being here alone. We've been together for going on twenty years, and we haven't been apart quite this long. Having to switch to bachelor mode on short notice at my age is a transition. The synaptic relays aren't pulling up the data from the memory banks from back in my younger, more randy days. I think a lot of beer, a portable grill, and loaded nachos were involved between girlfriends and the first wife. I got a bunch of TV dinners, a pack of hot dogs, and a jar of peanut butter for sustenance until next Saturday. Sounds like the lyrics to a Talking Heads song. *chuckle*

You really have a way with words.

Anyway, try to enjoy it. It doesn't get much more happy bachelor than me.

My 'way with words' are the result of spending my youth in a broadcast studio and being raised by a man who was a stickler for language and diction. One old colleague of my father's was able to get a friend of his into the studio for the first time to do a news update. He said he was nervous because he knew Dad was listening. When he was done, Dad came into the studio to tell him that he did well. As he left, Dad turned and said, "By the way, the word is 'CREEK'. If I ever hear you pronounce it 'CRICK' again, I'll have you neutered." That was Dad.

Well, nothing left to do but go fry a couple of hot dogs, and pour a glass of peach schnapps to finish off the night. I think that's how it worked.

"I got dem 'my wife done left me high and dry, and now I gotsa fend for myself' down home blues........"

I actually feel worse for the house rats. They're all perched on the corners of the bedroom furniture, like Gothic cathedral gargoyles, wondering when Mama Viking is coming to bed so they can arrange themselves for the night. And Mama Viking is somewhere over Kentucky at the moment, probably sitting beside some fat, sweaty guy with bad gas.
