She’s from Hawaii, so Dem is pretty much an assumption, and I think she’s full Bernie Sanders socialist on economic issues, but . . . she’s a vet and a Hindu and she understands what’s going on in the Middle East better than anyone in her party and the vast majority of the people in ours. Hopefully Trump at the very least maintains a solid line of communication with her, as working with at least one sane Democrat on foreign policy would be great for him.

Back then, in the south, they were the conservative brand.
Just a friendly reminder: Miss Gabbard’s voting record earned her a 96% leftist rating in 2015 from the ACU. Her lifetime rating is 95.05%. She may be right on one issue, but she’s wrong on everything else. A “Conservative Democrat” would be one who would have over a 50% rating (the equivalent of a liberal Republican threshold). There are no Democrats at the federal level that score that high.
