It didn't take long for "Winter Wonderland" to make it over to England and into the repertoire of Lew Stone. Here is an American version that I like. It has more of a "sweet band" feel and is not quite as jazzy as Stone's version.

Winter Wonderland--Richard Himber & His Ritz-Carlton Orchestra (1934)

The song may be enjoyable, but I so not miss the reality. In fact we are experiencing 28 degree weather here in Southeastern Louisiana and as far as I am concerned you guys can have it back!!! LOL

After May 27, 1935, when the Supreme Court decided A. L.A. Schechter Poultry Corp. v. United States, conservative constitutionalists could heartily sing, "gone away is the bluebird!"
