How did we ever survive our Santa fantasy as children? I’ll say it probably had to do with living in more of a monoculture than the multiculture we have today. Today I wouldn’t give the Santa story to a child the same way but slowly reveal the truth of the spirit behind the whole thing in the sort of way the letter from Virginia did.
Of course there is a Santa!!! God made St. Nicholas an angel that could touch mankind’s heart.
In this case yes
According the liberal minds, Santa is not a lie. They still expect Santa to grant provisions for every need they find. Santa just wears a different face(no longer in a Santa suit; now in a business suit). Life is good and life is free from care, worry and woe
Sure, why not make the world a little bit more miserable for kids by telling them he isnt real?
If the left is going to strip Christmas clean from their end, the other might as well torch it too!
LOL! That must be what happened to society - too many parents lied about Santa and caused irreparable harm that became part of the genetic line of liberals.
The Big Reveal was one of my worst mess-ups as a Mom.
It was a few days after Christmas, and I was on the phone with a friend, yammering about how I’d hit all the best sales and gotten the best prices ever on the stuff “Santa” had left under the tree.
I turn around, and the first-grader had been standing there listening the whole time, with the most tragic, stunned look on his little face.
Kids who don’t get to believe in Santa Claus and his generous, giving qualities will grow up to be SPOILED SNOWFLAKES!
Or is that being redundant?
It’s a game played with little kids with OBVIOUS characteristics that make it impossible, then I see no problem.
It ignites and feeds a child’s imagination. And then when the time is right, it creates a small disappointment which, in turn, is a lesson that life is not what we always hope it will be.
My parents NEVER lied about Santa, and I never believed in Santa. That said, they’d still sign some gifts as from Santa, which was they’re way of saying from both of them.
My mother told us that the three wise men brought gifts to Jesus, but we can’t do that, so we give gifts to each other. It made sense.
Here’s a SantaCam video put together by some Freepers I know two years ago for one of their daughters.
Yes... that’s a REAL reindeer being brought into the house!

I heard the Mrs. wasn’t happy.
If Santa knows who’s been bad or good, he should be working for the CIA.
I didn’t lie to my child. I told her about the real St. Nicholas
Santa IS NOT A LIE. He is in every department store in the country.
I read that as "immigration" and thought "Yes!...wait, how does that fit...ooohhhh.
