I love retrofuturism and actually like Kraftwerk. But, looking back, it’s sort of hilarious how deadly serious about themselves they were, being cutting edge for all of maybe a year or two. Very innovative group for their brief moment in the sun, though. Still sampled heavily in modern electronic music and have been ever since they’ve existed.
