Good, finally a comedy mocking political correctness. Long overdue in my opinion.
We saw that episode — I was laughing because every one of them was “real”, or at least imagined by real-life millenials.
The only part I disagree with here is that some think its funny. I don’t find this funny at all. Lenny Bruce was right. But instead of “Fuck:wP8YsliPtUrB” we are now defending our right to say “Ladies and Gentalmen”. If this is a slippery slope we are well down the slide.
He needs to shut up, bend over and write the tuition checks. /s
Humor is one way to fight this scum...
But it can end up disarming those that make the humor.
What happens is you make fun of something serious, you have a good laugh and you think you won the battle and so you relax. Meanwhile the other side takes it very seriously, institutionalizes this crap and we’re stuck with it, as that clip makes very clear. The father is making fun of it, but he and his daughter are still knuckling under the tyrants at the school. What I would have like to have seen is some in-your-face pushback on the part of the father and daughter against this PC, like Trump does.
It takes a lot more than a good laugh to destroy these bastards. We have to fight this crap as seriously as they want to impose it on us.
