Colin Kaepernick is reportedly planning to opt out of his contract after the 2016 season and become a free agent.
Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers agreed to a restructured contract earlier in the year, and the new deal includes a player option for 2017 and a guarantee that the Niners cannot use the franchise tag on him. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Kaepernick will void the deal, though he could end up returning to San Francisco.

It’s quite a downgrade to go to the CFL. Salaries are very small. The crowds and stadiums are small. The CFL is where NFL cuts go but yeah no US anthem. They do play the Canadian one though.

What a waste this guy is. I always thought he was an egotistical jerk but that could have been somewhat forgiven.
They don’t want him in left wing San Francisco. Guess he could play for the Redskins or be Brady’s backup in Boston.
No one wants a liability, CNN or MSNBC will pick him up
