A teenage Afghan asylum seeker has been arrested in Germany for the rape and murder of the 19-year-old daughter of a senior EU official.
Medical student Maria Ladenburger, who volunteered at a refugee home in her spare time, was found dead in the university city of Freiburg, near the border with Switzerland in mid October.
Her father is Dr. Clemens Ladenburger, a lawyer who works as the right hand man to the legal director of the European Commission.
It is unclear whether she ever met her murderer before he took her life.

I don’t understand why the “Refugees Welcome” sign is in English.
Unless of course those three dumb girls are just “virtue signaling” and are trying to reach the largest possible audience. In which case they all complete phonies, in the sense that Holden Caulfield would have used the term.
That sign is weird. I doubt any of the so-called refugees can read English.
So the girl was 19, and not called a “teenager,” and the rapist/murderer, 17, is called a “teenager.”
I see. All the media outlets are doing the same thing.
The choice is deliberate. The word “teenager” is overly broad. It goes from 13 to 19.
“Teenager” was chosen to evoke sympathy. “19” was used so we wouldn’t have sympathy for the young woman.
Don’t dismiss this. I know how these people think.
What the media wants to say is “White woman worth nothing. Fitting sacrifice on the altar of political correctness.”
Hussein Obama, America’s FIRST Pro-Muslim President, worked very hard to bring these type of murderers to America.
Hussein worked very hard to get Hillary elected who was going to bring even more of these Muslim murderers to America.
That is a phrase that could send the Ctrl-Left into a fit of the vapors, especially when it’s winter in Poland . . . and France.
