Wish I didn’t have to “join” to see all the ingredients and stuff. :(
Oh well, I’m probably the only person that would have eaten it anyways.
How in heck do you tell a plan's sex?
I am making chocolate covered bacon for a family get together this weekend and I will put a couple of shots of Tabasco in the Chocolate.
That’s a very good article. I can personally attest to the ‘euphoria’ produced by hot peppers; I first experienced it in Korean food; then when I ordered something with ‘Atomic’ in its name, at a little Mexican place, and later when I discovered Indian food.
(But even I ‘Fear the Reaper’ ;-)
There’s a wonderful little Indian restaurant in a strip mall near my home - it’s very crowded on weekdays at lunchtime; I think a lot of the Govt. folks go there, who work at the place where the Naval Ordnance Lab used to be (I think it’s FDA, now.)
One day when my husband and I were there for lunch, there was a very beautiful young woman sitting alone at the table next to us, wearing her Govt. ID. I’ve never seen anyone enjoying a meal so much - she seemed to sigh with every bite, experiencing almost orgasmic delight.
Peppers are proof that God loves us ;-)
You have to start slow, and build up ;-)
The first time I used Jalapenos and chopped them, the fire got under my finger nails and hurt all night and into the next day.
That didn’t happen again - Jalapenos can be very inconsistent. If you buy a bunch at the grocery, one might be medium hot, and another super hot. If I’m using them in a dish for others, I taste a little bit of each one, to regulate how hot the dish is going to be.
I’ve experienced the same thing with bad colds and ‘flu.
A quick thing to try is just a pack of ramen noodles; chop some garlic, and add that and cayenne to the mix.
Super. Thanks!

Hell if I know. I have enough trouble with people these days.
And so do a lot other people apparently.
Snort............
Found the same. Therefore, I use Serrano and habanero if I want consistent heat. I use jalapenos instead of green bell peppers, the store here gets ones so damn big and mild, they might as well be.
