I hate to break it to you but we have I’d reckon a couple dozen freepers who married younger Filipinas and other tropical Asian gals
Men want company..,I could not live without a woman to hold and love

Some of these guys here are really solid and several ex military who acquired a preference for these gals from postings in their youth
One is one of my closer compadres here and he has a great marriage
Another died unexpectedly recently and his poor yes younger wife didn’t look like fake tears to me
I can see why American men today lean towards traditional culture women and in the Philippines that means they are likely Christian

I think Savage crossed a line
I said I don’t understand it and that it’s not pedophilia. I just find it odd as do many others. It works for you and your wife and Art and his wife and so there it is. God Bless a happy marriage because they’re hard to come by.
It doesn’t surprise me that Americans think an older man and a younger woman implies ‘perversion’, which is what Weiner was riffing on.
Other cultures (Philippines, Brazil, Thailand, Costa Rica, and many others) have never frowned on this type of match.
Maybe it’s the USA that has the hangup with age differences, not the other way around. Or maybe it’s because in the USA sex is too central to relationships, and in other cultures it’s more about companionship, or status changes through marriage, or what’s beneficial for the greater extended family (a concept that has all but disappeared in the USA).
Agree as usual..... we think alike. Have always thought poorly of Savage. Don’t care for him. He doesn’t do his homework more times than not.... means well, wants accountability as do we all but seems to get his info off “Fakebook” .
