A country burns, yet coverage in the mainstream media is nearly non-existent.
Pyro-Terror in Israel
A friend emailed me from America: Are you anywhere near the eruption of wild fires?
Israel is the size of New Jersey and hundreds of fires have raged nationwide. Everyone is close to the fires! Men were caught with gasoline-soaked rags about a half-mile from my home.
The source of these fires? In many cases, terror. Israeli police released footage from drones and security cameras showing arsonists in action using Molotov cocktails to set fire to an open field. Fires were even set on the Lebanese side of the border so the wind would carry flames into Israel.
Media Coverage
From a pure news standpoint, the arrest of Palestinians with gas-soaked rags is highly significant. Yet the New York Times downplayed the "pyro-terror" aspect. Readers of the Times report had to wait 318 words before hearing anything about gasoline or other evidence. (And it took days for them to post anything related to the news, despite the evacuation of 75,000 citizens from Haifa.)
In the meantime, Reuters' bureau chief in Israel, Luke Baker, tweeted a sensationalist Palestinian claim that the fires were set by Jewish settlers trying "to destroy as much as possible of the Palestinian agricultural land."
Social Media Incitement
Arab language social media networks are ablaze with incitement for more arson attacks with hashtag #IsraelBurns" trending in Arabic.
Meanwhile, prominent Arab singer Ahlam al Shamsi with over 7 million Twitter followers tweeted dancing emojis and the hope that flames "rip Israel to shreds."
First-hand Account
One horrific fire in Beit Meir destroyed at least a dozen homes including the lifetime work thousands of paintings of Yoram Raanan, a dear friend and spectacular Jewish artist.
Yaakov Lehman, another friend in Beit Meir, reports:
' At around 2 am Thursday night, terrorists set fire to my small mountain village of Beit Meir. They lit multiple blazes, surrounding the only exit from our moshav with a gulf of flames.
As you can imagine, this made it exceedingly difficult for myself, my pregnant wife, and two kids to escape to safety. We, along with our neighbors, were trapped.
After about an hour of harrowing confusion, firefighters managed to clear a path for the 100 families of Beit Meir to flee the inferno. I watched as dozens of righteous firefighters and police faded into the smokey distance of my rear view mirror.
We fled to Beit Shemesh, and were warmly taken in at 3:30am by an unceasingly kind family.
The forest is a sea of fire. I don't know if I will have a house to return to.
Pray for us.' [italics mine]
The Talmud describes fire's tremendous power to both build and to destroy. May Israel be protected from the Islamic Fireball seeking to foment destruction.
Go now to your favorite news outlet, and if the terror aspect is being downplayed, write the editor to complain.
For those of you not familiar with Aish, the full name is Aish haTorah, or ""Fire of the Torah". It is an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva and worldwide learning center. If anyone is interested in donating money to help the displaced families, you can privately email me for the name/email address of an Israeli charity collecting money for the purpose.
The media doesn’t care. Since Israel is a peaceful democracy surrounded by ignorant fierce throwbacks to the year 610, the media believes Israel is the oppressor.
This is why I’m on Facebook. I am connected to people in Israel who have been giving direct testimony to this horror.

*BUMP*
When the hell is Israel going to figure out that they HAVE to deal with Islam? God Bless them, they have the patience of Job.
First reaction: tremendous sympathy for the thousands and thousands of innocent Israeli citizens inconvenienced or hurt even worse by the terrorists’ arson fires
but
so long as the government in Jerusalem continues its very very soft and ‘humanitarian’ treatment of Moslem terrorists and seditionists, including rather plush and accomdating prison conditions instead of ‘shoot on sight’ with the obvious death penalty for any actually captured alive....
until Israel starts applying reasonable defensive measures and laws that mean something, its policies are...imho.and I realize this may sound a bit severe on first reading....its policies are COMPLICIT or at least ENABLING of furthering future Moslem terrorist attacks on Israel’s innocent citizens
you get more of what you enable, and you get more of what you reward or facilitiate or permit to continue...too
there’s plenty of Biblical basis for defensively executing deliberate attackers who have the stated intent of mass-murdering you, your countrymen and neighbors...and families (including your children at school, etc.)....
I am aware of the rabbinic aversion to actually imposing the death penalty. I believe that “respect for life” is misapplied in this case. IMHO, “respect for life” in this situation would terminate the lives of those bent on mass-murdering your families, rather than permitting them to try, try again at their evil bombings, arsons, etc
to respect life, the least number of lost lives must be the objective.....executing the terrorists would achieve this for sure..........ALSO, Biblical and all other respectable systems of justice demand a fair and equal response or punishment for those that murder or try to murder innocent people in society
In conclusion, Israel could reduce the numbers of her innocent citizens being murdered and other Muslim terrorist attack damages to her society.............by implementing a prompt and equitable, fair justice system for Moslem terrorist attackers....shoot back on sight and if any still wind up being taken into cusdody then prompt (!) application of the equal treatment penalty (capital punishment). Best and most justice attainable policy.
Think of the pollution. You would think the useful idiots in the media would have the vapors over that.
I wonder if Israeli politicians are under the yoke of Obama and his minions. Here in the USA we do nothing to thwart potential threats to the point we welcome millions of Muslims and even kow tow to their very demands...no Christmas symbols because they will be offended, etc. To the point of tolerating Sharia law in various heavily muslimated places...so...
If our politicians continue with imposing PC to everything to cater to the Muslims and we are providing Israel with much money and military gear What is to prevent us from imposing PC speech about Muslims as a condition of continuing support to Israel? Nothing.
absoultely Obama and Soros have been both pressurin the Hell out of Jerusalem....AND trying to destroy Israel at the same time (revealing Isareli defense plans to enemy nations like Iran, protecting Iranian nuclear bomb factories with USAF and actually threatening “any nation that would try to stop them” with war, interrupting, stopping needed ammo resupply to Israel during her defensive opeation a couple years ago against Moslem terrorist attackers, etc. Obama has clearly done everything he could get away with to destroy Israel, also he’s illegally funded and sent in secret agents trying to interfer with Israel’s last election ....to see if he could slip an agent into the PM’s office there to replace Bibi, an agent or useful idiot who would sell Israel out for Obama/Soros
Obama/Soros equal ENEMIES of both Israel and USA (AND UK AND Europe and Russia)... all Christian and Jewish nations
etc.
Obama’s on his way out, but Soros remains free (for some unkown reason, given how many poeple and countries he’s hurt)....and Soros is the money bags, $$$$$ behind much of the evil in the world today including of course Obama
and HilLIARy
so....expect more troubles ahead
