We had an obnoxious, self important liberal at Thanksgiving dinner. She brags about how she controls her household, makes all the decisions and tells her husband what to do.
A friend and I were talking about how great the stock market was doing and I said it was due to Trump. We then talked about the media bias and how upset all the media talking heads are about Trumps victory.
She practically went crazy. Her face turned beet red. She was clenching her fists and almost yelling "She won the popular vote."
Of course we ignored her and kept on talking about how great Trump's win was for America.
You should have cold cocked her and bodily thrown her out of your house.
At our family Thanksgiving, the leftist families retreated to their safe zone, whenever we Trump voters expressed our joy on the subject. I should have brought the Preparation H for all the butthurt.
Where I was there was a 100% pro-Trump crowd. We talked about the election for 10 minutes and then enjoyed ourselves talking about lots of other things.

Liberals were not invited to my home for Thanksgiving or any other day. Perhaps when America is not facing a leftist threat to its existence I can tolerate them again. Perhaps not. But until then, my liberal brother and his parasitic family are not part of my family.
In that case, your wife should have cold cocked her and thrown her out of the house. :)
Alas...He was overruled. It was Thanksgiving but Trump was on our "Thank You God" list.
My sister and I talked for about 30 seconds, during our family get together, about the election. I admitted to voting for Trump, she told me he would be impeached, I was about to say something when we both smiled, then changed the subject. We were there for my Dad, whose health is failing.
The most liberal part of the family canceled for Thanksgiving. *shrug* We’ll see what happens at Christmas.
The Hillary voters in our Family did not attend the Family gathering. Only Trump voters showed up.
It was a good - happy day.
In Dodge City & Tombstone gunslingers left their weapons at the saloon entrance, sheriff’s orders.
Why can’t guests at family gatherings do the same?
Liberal millennial nephew. Didn’t vote. Trump too arrogant. Obama deported more than any President. Legalizing pot all good! He had no idea who/where his “facts” are from.
Tell your relative that Trump was way smarter than hillary because he campaigned hard to win electoral votes in key states and didn’t waste time going after an unimportant national popular vote. Tell her that Hillary was a moron surrounding herself with other morons whose only success was single-handidly destroying the democrat party.
A beloved member of my family said that the Electoral College was outdated and needed to be eliminated.
We changed the discussion and later changed our will.
We only had Trump voters at Thanksgiving dinner. We talked about what a beautiful day it was, said a prayer thanking God and then ate delicious food. It was fantastic and Hillary was not mentioned. Yea!
Illegals could have easily made up the difference. Especially in CA.
And remind them that Democrats fight every attempt to add integrity to the electoral process.
And if they think that illegals should vote then ask them if we should make up the laws as we go?
The only run in I had was with an aunt who mad a smart ass comment about guns when the topic of Cabella’s giving away a free rifle to someone waiting in line waiting in line at opening time on Friday. I did hear her teeth grinding at other times. So she was much more polite than usual.
Us too.
