I mean, usually one pledges in round numbers $500. $1,000. $1,500. Not $1,327.83.

My guess was that the last 4 digits are controlled by a random number generator. They only care about the aggregate anyway.

odd numbers would seem to show foreign donations or perhaps a donation scheme that took a percentage (i.e. processing fee).

Plug that figure into a currency converter & see what country comes up with an even amount .

usually one pledges in round numbers $500. $1,000. $1,500. Not $1,327.83.That is what I first noticed. Remember that program to change the election results needed decimals. In order for the algorithms to operate it needs to fractionalize the whole numbers.
