I would modify your recipe for Chambord Cranberry Sauce. Cook the cranberries with the sugar only. Cool, and only then add the Chambord. Then there will be a real reason to hit the sauce!
Brimming takes time though.
The most important thing is to not over cook the bird.

It’s 11:40pm here...I’m still thawin the turkey
Gratin Pomme de Terre
(fancy way of saying potatoes with cheese)
Heat oven to 375
five or six large Idaho potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
1 lb. shredded Gruyere cheese (the GOOD stuff - it makes a big difference)
1 pint heavy cream
salt and pepper
Butter a large baking dish then place a layer of potatoes down to cover bottom, sprinkle with s&p, then add 1/4 of the cheese. Repeat the same layers twice more, with the last layer having enough cheese to cover the surface. Pour the heavy cream evenly over the dish. Cover with nonstick foil and bake 1 hour. Remove foil and continue baking for another 30 minutes or until a knife goes in easily and the top is nice and bubbly and golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to sit for 15 minutes before serving. This is SO easy and your family will love it!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I prefer mushy peas with authentic fish and chips.

That is hilarious. That is a side dish I am taking over. Prepped it this morning.
Your concept is great but my stuff will make you cry. 3 tbs spoons butter and flour. Make a roux. A White or blond roux. Add nutmeg and white pepper to taste. Add milk and cream to make your sauce. Simmer sauce with a bouquet garni for 20 minutes,
Only one addition after that is to micrograte parm over the top before putting it under the broiler for a few minutes.
People actually tear up tasting it. Then go for seconds and thirds.

Yep.... two distinct deltas make it a whirl!
Everyone who has ever eaten my cranberry relish can't stop raving about it.
Now, I just may add the oranges; except I've already made mine relish for tomorrow.
Pumpkin Pie
4 eggs slightly beaten
2-3 TBSP molasses
3/4 C honey
1 1/2 TBSP flour
2-3 TBSP cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 large can (29 oz) pumpkin
1 can evaporated milk
Mix eggs, honey, and molasses.
Mix flour and spices together and add to mixture.
Add pumpkin and mix well then add evaporated milk and mix well.
Pour into two uncooked pie shells (deep dish works best)
Bake at 350 for 45 - 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Thanks for reformatting - I was in a hurry at the time.
I some times have to cook for people who aren’t that crazy about bacon!!!!
Yes, they exist!
However, bacon IS on my potatoes roasting in the oven.
AND bacon WILL BE on and under my chuck roast. You have my word!
Hey, is he covered in butter, oregano and Parmesan?
Have him hold this parsley......
Saved it!!
Thanks everyone who stopped by!!!
Sorry haven’t responded to all. Gonna go start the chuck roast a little early to free up the kitchen in the a.m.
Be back after a bit.
Sounds tasty but not at all kosher, lol. Enjoy it and have a great Thanksgiving!
