The way it was worded, you are right, it sounds like he was upset about the protests against Trump, not the fact that Trump won.
This is the second thread I have seen on it, and both threads seem to interpret it as an elderly man upset about the election result, when it might actually be about a guy upset about the people protesting the result.
Can anyone with more knowledge clarify it?
