Apple has instituted a battery replacement program for iPhone 6s devices made in September and October 2015 that may have a problem spontaneously shutting off with a near full battery charge. Apple will replace the battery of any such device made during that period for under an extended warranty program for free. PING! Interesting. My iPhone 6s was purchased October 2015 and shuts off at random if the battery is below 30%

Shouldn’t that say they are replacing the phone. I didn’t know you could take the battery out of the iphone. Is that a new feature?
