This woman lived as a horse until the age of 13.
Kate Havord would gallop around on all fours, wear a bridle and even eat grass.
Between the ages of six and 13 the 47-year-old claims a horse spirit entered her and eventually had 32 distinct horse personalities she could call upon at any given moment.
Kate, who lives in Chippenham, Wilts, but grew up roaming free on a farm in Scotland, would even try to eat her meals like a horse and fashioned some horse shoes from old cork.
She said: It was like the spirit of the horse entered me I felt so free and powerful and this euphoria was intensified by the fact that I won the race by a long shot.
From that moment on there was always more of a pull to get down on all fours and gallop that to walk along on two legs I would pretend to be a horse at every opportunity.
I remember going to my mum and dads vegetable patch and nibbling on broccoli flowers, a fennel bush or even a bit of grass although that was a bit of a struggle to eat.
I created horse shoes out of old cork tiles and stuck them on to create horse shoe patterns, and I used to use my mums empty face cream pots as hooves.
But she stressed she never fully believed she was an actual horse.
Single Kate, who has no children, said as younger sister Sarah, 44, joined in with her creative fantasy the pair eventually cultivated the personalities of 32 different horses.
But her days as a horse were eventually brought to a halt by her father, the late renowned television actor Conrad Phillips, when she was 13.
Eventually as a 13-year-old I was out trotting on my neighbours drive when my dad came out and said to me in his Shakespearean actors voice there comes a time, my darling, when every young lady has to put away her hooves.
It was then I remember that I suddenly felt a switch go off. That was a really strange moment. That day my childhood was over I stopped doing it after that.
Although Kates strong connection to horses did not waver though and she struck up a close bond with pet horse Orinoco, who died last year.
The spiritual priestess-in-training believes the spirits of Orinoco and her father appeared to her in clouds when each passed away.
And art therapist Kate, who works with children, believes her childhood behaviour perfectly demonstrates how children use escapism to deal with difficulties in life.
I can look back and see that maybe thats what happened for me as a child. It has definitely informed my work.
No. It looks like it’s on the correct end. ;^)
Related to horse-face Jean-Francois Kerry?
I’ll support them ..................all the way to the asylum.
She kept asking for somebody named Wilbur.
The Left closed the insane asylums (but there are still psych wards in hospitals and prisons) because of shock treatments, pills, and the Titicut Follies documentary. Then they blamed the crazies on the streets on President Ronald Reagan.

Today the APA says that homosexualists, crossdressers, and others with abnormal sexual interests are mentally normal and their manias are not only tolerated by PROMOTED in primary schools.
Try as the libs do to blame Reagan (even as governor of California in 67, he didn’t have the power to influence national policy).
Tell tale quote from the 1984 article:
“The discharge of mental patients was accelerated in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s in some states as a result of a series of court decisions that limited the commitment powers of state and local officials.”
Thank God.

Chelsea Clinton?
She married a man who believes he is a goat and hopes to have some kids one day.
Has she been kicked in the head while SHOEING a horse?
Hmmm... a gal who thinks she’s a horse... now THERES a keeper!
Does she crap outside?
Yes I remember when they stopped locking up the crazy people!
So many of our mass shooting incidents are caused by the criminally insane who are permitted to self-administer medications (which they sometimes drop preferring to toke up on pot instead) and freely roam (where they procure weapons and plot mass mayhem). Another unspoken component to our mass shooting incidents (and a rising one at that) are muslim Islamic supremacists going full jihad, call it “mental disorder” but the death cult that pushes the mania is permitted to remain in this shores and the radical imam are not locked up.
Instead of taking away all of the guns or performing umpteen background checks, LOCK THE CRAZY PEOPLE UP. House arrest with monitoring devices or under institutionalized monitoring. If you are unaccountable for your actions by reason of insanity then you are not permitted in public without a legal guardian.
The psychoactive drugs may make them pass for normal but they still flip the switch all too often.
If that’s not the picture of unbridled passion....
I think you are right on target!
Better?
If she was from the current generation, we would call her trans-species, and anyone who refused to call her by her horse name would be guilty of a hate crime. There's a whole lot of crazy in that girl, and that's not always a good thing.
Why the long face?
Horsing around can be fun.
