When I proposed to my wife, I gave her the very best diamond I could find. It took me six months of hard saving to buy it and she was thrilled. Shortly after we were married, she lost the ring. We retraced every step, searched trash, the floors, the sink traps everything, all day.

Finally, after the day was nearly done, we remembered that I had received an award at the Marine Base that day so we drove there and searched the parking lot. After an hour's searching and the light was almost gone, I spotted a gleam on the pavement and it was her ring! It had only been run over once or so and easily fixed.

Makes that ring that much more precious.

I’m glad you found it.

I was packing for a trip back East to visit family when I noticed my engagement ring was gone. Took everything out of the box and no ring. Convinced myself that I had heard a ping when flushing the toilet and called my plumber friend to come go through all the pipes and the sewer in the middle of the street...no ring. Had no clue where it was but considered it gone. Sent my package via USPS to cousins house and waited on time to take my trip. Flight was iced out so plane cancelled, trip cancelled.
Started shopping for a new ring to replace the one that was lost and to my surprise the price on diamonds and gold had gone sky high since we bought it so just kind of set it on the back burner.
About a month later cousin finally sent my box from my cancelled trip home. I opened it up and my ring was laying right there on top. It must’ve been hung up on something when I looked through it previously and shook loose with the trip to Arkansas and back. lol
Next day I took my engagement ring and wedding band to the jeweler to have them soldered.
